We are so excited to be nearly finished turning our imaginations, aided by pixels and a year of lost sleep from late nights or insanely early mornings into a tangible item that is our Waterton park 18-month calendar. The printer is standing ready, and we are finalizing this project's design this weekend.
We have spoken to the merchants in the Waterton townsite and they are excited. Our market research showed that there is a void of a variety of imagery in Waterton, compared to other mountain parks. With the number of visitors in the park each year, Waterton is deserving of its own world-class imagery and this calendar will fill this void in the marketplace. It will be deliverable approximately the second week in June!
We have made this calendar friendly for geotravelers, so they can feel good about their purchase. We are local photographers, using a local printer with FSC certification. We have added an information column in each month about various features and history of the park which will be of interest to both locals and tourists. We are also proud to be providing the only winter imagery of the park, a time of the year that most people do not get to see, but is so trademark of the Canadian Rockies.
This is our first year with this venture, but we are committed to providing an annual calendar for future years as well. We have received tremendous support already and people are anxiously awaiting this calendar's arrival!
